What is Southwest Rapid Rewards?: Southwest Rapid Rewards is Southwest Airlines' frequent flier program. Members earn points for every flight and redeem points for free flights.

Basic Way to A Free Flight: Members earn 2 points for every roundtrip flight. After members accrue 16 points (eight roundtrips), they earn a free flight anywhere in the United States.

How Points Are Awarded: Points are awarded for every time a member flies on Southwest. In addition, members earn points for using Southwest business partners, including hotels, rental cars, and others.

How Points Are Redeemed: Points are redeemed for free flights, hotel and rental car discounts and other promotional offers.
