Guide Review - American Express Rewards Program
I have never met an awards program I did not like, but they are not all created equal. American Express stands out from the others with its diversity, ease of use, and top-notch brand offerings.

Signing Up:

Signing up for an American Express card or rewards program couldn’t be easier. A handy Choose Your Card feature helps you find the card that is best for your needs and reward goals. If possible, sign up for two cards to keep business and personal expenses separate. You can easily link the two accounts to reach your rewards goals more quickly. Once you have found and applied for the card/reward program of your choice, it’s time to start accumulating points.

Earning Points:

You'll earn at least one point for every dollar charged to your Amex, though a number of special promotions offer double and even triple points. The website packages these promotions under an “Earn Points Fast” tab, so it’s easy to find out where to earn the most points for your dollar.

Keeping track of your points is also a cinch; click on the “Membership Rewards” tab on your American Express homepage to see how many points you have available, and how you earned them.

Redeeming Points:

Cashing in points - the best part of any rewards program - is easy and fun with American Express. From your “Account Summary” page, navigate to “Card Options” and, finally, “Redeem Your Membership Rewards.” Search for rewards by category or reward level. Shipping is generally free and speedy, with rewards arriving within two-to-four weeks, as stated.

If you are looking for a rewards program with flexibility and vast reward options, the American Express Rewards Program is well worth your consideration.
