Travel First Aid Kit
What to Pack for Business Travel

From , former About.com Guide

You'll want your own travel first aid kit - particularly on international business trips - to eliminate the need for trips to a pharmacy (as well as to avoid any embarrassing medical mishaps on the road). Here are the medical items you won't want to leave home without (just be sure they all fit within the 3-1-1 rules for liquids/gels on planes):

  • Prescription medications (with labels for use)
  • Band-aids
  • Antibacterial ointment
  • Anti-diarrheal medicine
  • Antihistamine pills (for any allergic reactions)
  • Advil (or pain relief of choice)
  • Vitamins (you may be subsisting on cereal bars)
  • Nasal decongestant (will help relieve nasal pressure during flights)
  • Hydrocortisone cream
