A Business Traveler's Guide to New York City

If your business travel takes you to NYC, this business travelers guide to New York City can help you book a room, find a place to eat, and navigate the city.

1. NYC Transportation

The business traveler has a number of options for getting into New York City. Whether you fly into one of the three main airports servicing the metropolitan area - JFK, LaGuardia or Newark - or arrive via train or bus, you're still likely to need additional transportation at some point during your trip. Renting a car for a NYC business trip isn't recommended or needed, as taxis, car services and public transportation are more than reliable.

2. Find a NYC Hotel

Whether you've got a big expense account or a limited budget to work with, you can find a hotel to suit your business travel needs in NYC. Shop for a hotel online or check out some of these recommended hotels, located near the Javits Center in midtown Manhattan.

3. Where to Eat in NYC

There is no shortage of fabulous eateries in NYC. From pizza to hot dogs and everything in between, you won't have to look hard to find a bite to eat. If you've got clients to impress, however, you'll want to skip the street cart food and head to one of the city's finest dining establishments. Try one of NYC's top steakhouses, or book reservations in advance (way in advance) at one of NYC's most expensive restaurants.
