U.S. Airways, the fifth largest domestic airline, is headquartered in Tempe, AZ. Operating more than 3,700 flights per day, U.S. Airways is part of Star Alliance and offers a rewards program, Dividend Miles.Currently flying to more than 200 destinations worldwide, U.S. Airways has three U.S. hubs and several more focus airports.

As of July 9, 2008, U.S. Airways charges a $15 fee for the first checked bag. Second bags are assessed a $25 fee. Exemptions include international flights as well as Dividend Miles Preferred members and Star Alliance Silver and Gold status members.

Dividend Miles is a free program that awards miles for each ticket purchased on U.S. Airways, U.S. Airways Shuttle, or any one of the airline partners (including those in Star Alliance).

Miles can be redeemed for travel on any of those same carriers, subject to blackout dates and redemption fees. Miles earned are based on the length of the journey as well as the class of ticket purchased. Hotel partner stays, select car rentals and partner credit card purchases can earn Dividend miles, as well.
