Company Overview:
Delta and Delta Connection, headquartered in Atlanta, fly more than 4,000 flights per day. A founding member of the SkyTeam Alliance, Delta offers a rewards program, SkyMiles. Once the merger between Northwest and Delta Airlines becomes official in Fall 2008, Delta will be the largest airline carrier in the world.
Destinations:
Delta and Delta Connection currently serve 311 destinations in 52 countries, with 32 trans-Atlantic destinations.

Baggage Policies:
As of April 9, 2008, purchased reservations for domestic flights include one checked bag free of charge. International travelers may check two bags without additional cost, and First Class and Business Elite Travelers may always check three bags without a fee. weight and size restrictions apply.

Rewards Program:
Delta's frequent flier program, SkyMiles, lets you earn miles for flights on Delta, Delta Shuttle, or Delta Connection flights, as well as on for flights on SkyTeam airline partners. The program has an impressive number of hotel and credit card partners, but a cumbersome and restrictive redemption process.
