Take a Load Off: Shipping Luggage for Business Travel

Monday August 7, 2006
I'm going to pull a muscle one day, I'm sure of it. The size and number of bags that I take on a trip is usually pretty minimal, but sometimes you've got to heft the big bag through the airport. When I travel for business, my adrenaline is usually pumping so hard that I don't even feel the pain in my back until I get to my destination. One company is looking to save business travelers some future hernias by shipping their luggage for them. The Luggage Club will pick up your bags at your house and ship them to your destinaton in advance of your next business trip. It'll cost you a little bit, but it'll save you some hassles down the road.

A great tip… more so now that we have new restrictions to think of. Perfect solution, imho, for those who are flying out from the UK for business, who need their laptops.

As a frequent traveler I have started forwarding my bags to avoid the hassle of lugging bags through the airport. I have tried a few companies but personally I prefer because their pricing is the most competitive and my experience with the company has been only positive. They ship internationally as well. I highly recommend forwarding your luggage if you have large heavy bags or sports equipment like golf bags. Save yourself the trouble!

I’ve used Luggage Concierge a few times, and will continue to. Great service, prices are good, and the included insurance was the best out of the others I researched.
