This probably doesn't come as a shock to anyone that's really traveled for business, but at least it's official now. Business travel is bad for your health. As if it all those security lines, full planes, and rental car surcharges weren't enough.
According to an article in USA Today, a recent study published in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine found that people who travel more than 20 days a month (okay, that's actually quite a lot!) were 2.61 times more likely to report themselves in poor or fair health (compared to people who "only" travel 1 to 6 days per month). Really frequent travelers also reported being almost twice as likely to be obese.
