I’ve had great luck using rentalcarmagic.com. I don’t have the time to search all over the place for discounts, but they do it for me, and they do it much better than I could. On my last trip to Florida, i could not find anything less than $870. They found me a great car at Dollar for $380. My brother told me about this site, and I’ve been using it ever since.
There are also hundreds of professional organizations and reward programs (ie travel clubs, auto clubs, frequent flyer programs) that offer car rental discount codes to their members.
