You might not be checking your bag (and subjecting it to the not-so-gentle hands of TSA handlers), but a business traveler's bag takes plenty of abuse all the same. From constant wear and tear on the wheels, to getting tossed around in cabs, our luggage needs to stand up to a lot. Over the years, I've learned a thing or two about what to look for in a rolling carry-on bag - don't buy a new piece of luggage without checking out my top buying tips first.

I have actually abandoned my rollerboard completely. I became a onebag.com convert (I bought his #1 recommended bag) in July 2008 and have now flown over 100,000 air miles on business with only one soft-sided carry-on bag. I would at least encourage your readers to look into it.
