Travel Advisory - Winter Storms Mean Flight Delays

Monday March 2, 2009
A major snowstorm is currently making for treacherous travel conditions in the Northeast. With the Boston area expecting up to 15 inches of snow, expect cancellations and delays for travel on Monday. If you are traveling to or through impacted areas (namely the entire eastern half of the country), you might want to try and reschedule your meeting. At the very least, check with your airline before you leave home, or get the latest travel advisory information here:

American Airlines travel advisories
US Airways travel advisories
Northwest Airlines travel advisories
Delta travel advisories
JetBlue travel advisories
United Airlines travel advisory
Continental travel advisories
Southwest travel advisories

If you need to re-book a flight, here are the customer service numbers for the major airlines. Safe travels!

See, that’s the thing that really irks me. I despise flight delays. I missed out on a couple of good business accounts because I had to cancel meetings due to winter weather advisories and flight cancellations. Now I now use web conferencing and even conferencing from a site that I found online - http://www.24conference.com. So, the next time United Airlines cancels a flight due to bad weather, I have an alternative.
