Travel Advisory - Mumbai India

Due to the atrocities currently occurring in Mumbai India, the U.S. Consulate is urging Americans to defer travel to Mumbai for at least the next 48-72 hours. The Consulate is also open this morning for emergency passport issues for those U.S. citizens with immediate travel plans.

If you are heading to an airport anywhere in India, please allow at least three hours to clear security due to heightened security measures now in place.
