Global Entry: How $100 Can Speed Your Travels

Thursday November 13, 2008
For frequent international travelers, the Global Entry Program is worth checking out. Managed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the program allows pre-screened, low-risk U.S. citizens and permanent residents expedited re-entry from international flights. The approval process requires an application and in-person meeting, in addition to a $100 fee. Approved passengers will have access to kiosks for fingerprinting, passport check, and a speedy customs declaration. Currently available only at JFK, George Bush Intercontinental in Houston, Washington Dulles and O'Hare airports, the program is expected to grow.

For more information, or to begin the application, visit the Global Entry information page.
