Transfering American Express Membership Rewards to Free Flights

Friday January 26, 2007
For road warriors, there is only one Holy Grail at the end of their long arduous business travels. This thing is the one thing that business travelers relish when completing their business trip. I'm talking about airline miles/points. Depending upon how much you travel for work, you may quickly accumulate the points to reward the fruits of your labor with a free flight. I know that as much as I hate to leave my family for business, that I can make it up later with a free trip for all of us. If you don't travel enough to earn those points, don't despair. If you max your Amex card with business dinners and programs, you can still transfer points from the card to a frequent flyer program, and fly free. Here's how to do it.

We use the Amex Rewards plan often for free travel because it offers a number of good choices and a lot of flexibility. If you travel often enough to accumulate points, I highly recommend this program.

This is great. I’m continually juggling miles, programmes and cards - usually resulting in me dropping them. This is very useful.
